The Stamford Mentoring Collaborative champions youth mentoring.
Collectively we build capacity, serve as a resource, and help implement
best practices to expand productive alternatives for our city's youth.

Are you looking for a mentoring opportunity for a child in Stamford or would like to mentor yourself?
The Youth Services mentoring initiative is through the Stamford Mentoring Partnership (STAMP) with a mission to promote
the development of caring, responsible and successful young citizens by matching them with positive role models from the community
that give them direction and opportunity through mentoring. STAMP will work with the Stamford Mentoring Collaborative to providesupport services to approved Best Practice Mentoring providers in the City of Stamford.
STAMP will support mentor program needs through hosting monthly mentoring collaboration meetings, new & ongoing Mentor training,
recruitment, Ropes Adventure course events, and event updates and calendar on the Youth Services website.
STAMP will help to direct parents and adults interested in mentoring with the appropriate mentoring programs that fit their needs.
Vision:
STAMP hopes that by supporting the Stamford Mentoring Collaborative that:
Every child who needs and wants a mentor has one
Mentoring programs are well managed, an have the resources meet the need, and demonstrate proven models of best practices.
The community is engage in collaborative partnerships that support mentoring, and
Mentoring is a common and valued way of life.
