Description of Programs

The Girl Scout Leadership Development Program maintains four core goals:

  • To Develop Self-Potential
    Each girl learns how to develop her strengths, to feel good about herself, and to appreciate how special and unique she is.
  • To Develop Values
    Each girl learns to make her own right decisions and to respect other people.
  • To Relate to Others
    Each girl learns to value people who are different from herself and learns to make lasting friendships.
  • To Contribute to Society
    Each girl learns to care about the world she lives in and uses her skills to make it better.

      1. Girlz Rule- Bullying prevention program for girls; includes Uniquely Me! self esteem program for girls
      2. Girl Scout Troops- volunteer led Girl Scout program
      3. Nature Activities- Hikes and wildlife education programs
      4. Leadership Development Programs
      5. Cultural Enrichment Opportunities
      6. Community Service
      7. Art Workshops
      8. Overnight Camping
