KidsPlace Fees for the 2006- 2007 school year:
Children can attend from one to five days per week.
5 days a week: $315 per month
4 days a week: $295 per month
3 days a week: $260 per month
2 days a week: $200 per month
1 day a week: $120 per month
Transportation Fee for the 2006 – 2007 school year:
The JCC offers transportation to the Center from most Stamford public schools. The JCC has a fleet of four vans, all equipped with seat belts, that provide optional transportation to the JCC from the child’s school. Along with the driver, each van has a counselor on board.

Description of Programs

For students in grades 6 – 8, independence and autonomy are key. At The Zone, middle school teens participate in a semi-structured and semi-supervised after-school program specifically designed for their needs and interests. Upon arrival at the JCC, participants check in with the counselor at The Zone. Every day there are a variety of activities to choose from, including racquetball, shooting hoops, swimming, playing tennis, or organized games on our outdoor fields. Homework assistance is available, as well as baking projects, craft projects, and other activities of interest. Snacks are always served. The Zone is also a great place to just hang out with friends.
For teens who are interested in dance or sports there are many classes offered through various JCC departments for an additional fee and are all available to the Zone participants.
On days when the public school is closed, the JCC offers thematic vacation day programs, usually trips to places of interest to teens.
In order to be enrolled in the Zone, families must be a member of the Jewish Community Center. Membership is open to everyone. No one is denied membership because of race or religion. For membership fees and information, please contact the Membership Director at 203.487.0945.
