Description of Programs
|
|
1. In school programs to teach students K-12 the basic concepts of business and economics and how education is relevant to the workplace and introduce them to many economic concepts and useful facts about the working world.
2. Organizes “Career Days” where volunteers visit schools to talk about their careers
3. Junior Achievement Company Program- 12 week night program where students run their own company
4. Job Shadow/ Field Trips- Takes Middle and High School students into the workplace to learn about career
5. Junior Achievement is also a resource to after school programs, providing curriculums and materials to teach kids about personal economics and business.
