Office Of The Town Clerk: Genealogy Requests

Header

Requests for vital statistic information, over 100 years old, are considered genealogical. We are very sorry to inform you that our office is unable to fulfill requests for this information. The City of Stamford does not employ a genealogical researcher and our staff members are unable to perform this service. Our historic records, however, are open for public inspection and we welcome anyone who would like to visit our office and search their family’s history.

We recommend that you contact one of the following agencies for recommendations for a qualified, professional researcher and/or historic and genealogical records. (There may be a cost associated with any of the societies listed below.)
