Highways And Roads: Autumn Leaf Pickup |

Important Reminders: |
- Please do not put leaves out until the start date for your area.
- City crews will not return if leaves were not put out during the designated pick-up times.
- Leaves must be brought out to the curb.
- Only loose leaves or leaves in recyclable paper leaf bags will be picked up ( Plastic bags will not be accepted ). Residents can bring bagged leaves to the recycling center on Magee Avenue or Scofieldtown Road .
- No brush, grass clippings or bulky waste will be picked up. If these materials are found at curb side they will not be picked up. Owners of the adjacent properties can be cited or fined for leaving brush, grass clippings or bulky waste at curbside.
- Whenever possible, compost leaves. If you have wooded property, the leaves will naturally compost if raked or swept into the woods.
- Do not cover curbs, irrigation pipes, sprinklers and water curb boxes with leaves. They could be damaged by heavy equipment removing leaves. Do not pile the leaves near stone walls, fences, trees or mailboxes.
