Recycling Guidelines

  • Garbage collection is curbside.
  • The City will only collect garbage in bags in the City issued Toter bins. Heavy duty plastic bags will also be collected.
  • Do not mix recyclable material in your garbage.
  • Garbage crews WILL NOT collect: Construction and demolition items. Latex paint. Car batteries. Items weighting more than 50 pounds. Waste oil. Furniture. Items that are recyclable, hazardous or liquid. Mattresses. Appliances. Yard waste. (But they can be brought to the Transfer Station at 1 Harbor View Drive)
