Setting up your own recycling program at home is easy and rewarding.e Select an area that is convenient to your kitchen an empty cabinet, a corner in the kitchen or an area in the garage. Get a plastic bin of about 18 gallon size to be used to store the recyclable materials. A plastic bin is preferred because it will contain any liquids that remain in containers during storage. This will provide for a neater appearing storage area and reduce potential insect problems. The 18-gallon blue and gray recycling bins are available at the Government Center, 888 Washington Boulevard in the Securty Office in the Lobby; Katrina Mygatt Recycling Center, Harborview Avenue; and Scofieldtown Road Recycling Center on the corner of Scofieldtown Road and Rockrimmon Road.
